Seats
The majority of triple buggies start life as single pushchairs, but some can convert to take a second seat or carrycot by converting adapters (these are more commonly found in tandem buggies). You'll also find that some models allow you to add a ride-on board to older children who want to walk but require some assistance.
For a lightweight alternative that's ideal for city streets, take a look at the Joie Evalite Duo. It's a breeze to move and comes with a large basket with plenty of storage space. It can be used to accommodate twins as young as birth and accept two car seats or an infant carrycot and seat. The seats are required to face forwards and there's no room for a shopping bag under which is why you'll need a backpack for this.
If you like to take off-road trips and off-road, the Mountain Buggy Duet is a good choice. It's a side-by-side with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy available on the market. This allows it to squeeze through doors that are narrow and on public transport, and also allows you to go up and down kerbs with no trouble. It also has a handbrake on the adjustable handlebar for extra security and safety.
The UPPAbaby vista 2 double is another lightweight option that can be used by twins or a toddler and baby. The seats come with multi-position recline and UPF 50+ sunshades and the canopy can be adjusted to keep the sun out of your child's eyes. The Vista 2 can be converted into an UPPAbaby triple by incorporating UPPAbaby's "PiggyBack" board, which is designed for older children.
The iCandy Orange is one of the most well-known double buggies available, thanks to its superb comfort. It is a true all-terrain vehicle, with soft suspension to make smooth work of bumpy surfaces. It has 30 different seating configurations as well as a built-in table for older children who prefer walking, and a "cinema' mode which raises the back seats to provide better visibility.
The phil&teds dots are brilliant single buggys that are easily modified to accommodate two (or three!) Multiple configurations are possible. This is especially useful when you have a child in your car. The frame can be affixed to a wedgie that allows for the most optimal lying-flat position. Also, car seat adapters that fit various brands.
Suspension
The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine how easy your child/children and you can push it. A smooth ride is vital because babies feel every bump on the road, particularly if it's on rough terrain like grass or dirt roads. Some models come with locking front tires to help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.
Certain models have air-filled tyres which will provide a fantastic all-terrain ride, but can be prone to punctures, so make sure you have a spare set in the trunk. Others have foam or gel tyres that are designed to take the bumps and can be less prone to punctures however, you might feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back should you decide to run.

Folding
A 3-wheel double buggy can fold up quite neatly for storage. There are models that fold flat and then stand up (as as if they're in a pushchair position) as well as those that pop up to reveal an umbrella-like fold that has an electric brake. The more wheels a buggy has, in general the easier it will be to maneuver through rough terrain. This is especially true if your wheels are bigger than the average size. three wheel pushchair will have more stability, and it's less likely that you will need to tip over or flip your child.

It features an innovative three-wheel design that includes a sling for greater maneuverability and stability.
This is the best double buggies to run with your kids. It comes with an adjustable front wheel that locks, that will allow you to maintain control on rough terrain or off-road. It comes with a huge undercarriage, a movable handlebar, and soft suspension for an enjoyable ride.
This is a lightweight compact model that folds easily using just one hand. It's perfect for traveling. It is compatible with many infant car seats, and comes with a handy undercarriage basket to store items. It's not cheap however, it does have certain standout features, such as its one-click folding, as well as a variety of additional features, such as a bumper bar or raincover.
Storage

It can be used with an infant car seat, a carrycot or both. This allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds.
