Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single stroller to a double stroller with the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection can be set up to be a triple travel system by adding a bench or an infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in total and is the most highly rated stroller. This model is constructed with Baby Jogger’s soft durable, breathable and sustainably-sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating the temperature. It comes with a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the industry-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is lighter, too.
It comes with a moderate-sized sunshade and a convenient magnetic peek-a-boo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the most simple to adjust and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and there's an adjustment button for the footwell to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin has plenty of space, but we would have liked a more secure latch. It's easy to access, but we found the zippers to be a little frustrating since they have to be completely undone and refastened for each use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breaks that are simple to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and a significant improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake lever that a few of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we examined that accepts two infant seats. It's an excellent choice for parents with twins or expecting a baby soon. It can be used to fit most infant car seats from the major brands by using an adapter. We tested it on the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It is a great option for families that already have a car seat and want an appropriate stroller, but you may prefer a convertible stroller that can fit an additional car seat for infants in this instance.
